Get to know Visit Dallas!
Visit Dallas is an independent, not-for-profit sales and marketing organization that promotes Dallas as a premier business and leisure travel destination. The organization’s collective efforts generate economic impact, jobs and state and local tax revenues, benefitting the community and improving the quality of life for all residents.
What sets your organization apart from other companies in the industry?
We showcase Dallas as a city powered and empowered by human energy. Dallas’ LGBTQ+ community, being the 6th largest in the nation, is an important part of that story. The Oak Lawn District has served as the epicenter for LGBTQ+ life and culture in Dallas for decades, and the city is also home to nationally and internationally recognized institutions and events, including Black Tie Dinner, Uptown Players and Cathedral of Hope.
How does your organization prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure a positive experience for its clients?
Visit Dallas is committed to being a trusted partner to our clients, community stakeholders and local businesses. We work closely with hotels, restaurants, venues, attractions and more to promote their offerings, connect them with visitors and meeting planners and help showcase all the things that make Dallas unique.
What does the future hold for your organization? Are there any upcoming events, partnerships, or initiatives that our members should be excited about?
The future is incredibly exciting for Visit Dallas as we continue to grow and evolve alongside our city. Construction is underway on Dallas’ new convention center, scheduled to open in January 2031. This transformative project will create new opportunities to attract major meetings and events while further elevating Dallas as a premier destination.
At the same time, Dallas’ business landscape continues to gain momentum. The emergence of “Y’all Street,” fueled by the growing presence of major financial institutions and the Texas Stock Exchange, is adding a compelling new chapter to the city’s business and innovation story.
Visit Dallas is also now leading sales and marketing efforts for Fair Park, opening new opportunities to showcase its iconic and historic venues to meeting and event planners. Together, these developments reflect the incredible momentum happening across Dallas—and give us a lot to look forward to in the years ahead.
